These naturally sweet, protein-rich bites are the perfect grab-and-go snack for busy women needing sustained energy without the crash. Packed with healthy fats, fibre, and minerals, they’ll satisfy cravings and keep your blood sugar balanced.

Ingredients:

1 cup softened Medjool dates (pitted and soaked in warm water for 10 minutes if needed)

1 cup natural almond butter

1 cup rolled oats, pulsed in a food processor for a finer texture

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

4 tablespoons hemp hearts

2 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions:

In a food processor, combine softened dates and almond butter until smooth and well blended.

Add pulsed oats, cocoa powder, hemp hearts, sea salt, and chocolate chips if using.

Pulse until the mixture forms a sticky dough. If too dry, add a spoonful of warm water or extra almond butter; if too wet, add a bit more oats.

Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.

Makes: 18–20 bites

Tip: You can roll them in extra hemp seeds or shredded coconut for an added boost!
